Zabbix
Zabbix allows us to provide our customers with the ability to run custom scripts when certain criteria are met. Depending on the type of host that has been created, the tool can apply predefined or custom templates. These models using preconfigured elements and triggers speed up the configuration process.
The main Zabbix server once implemented by our teams, it has more than 80 elements and 50 triggers, all added automatically after application of two integrated models. The tool has a discovery function, which uses an IP range to analyze the network in order to find assets corresponding to a series of criteria. For example, it is possible to search for items running only SNMP or items with the Zabbix agent installed.
Observium
Observium is an IT infrastructure supervision/monitoring tool. It provides real-time information on the status of servers and supervised network equipment. It supports a wide range of device types, platforms, and operating systems including Cisco, Windows, Linux, HP, Juniper, Dell, FreeBSD, Brocade, Netscaler, NetApp, and many more.
It allows us via a dashboard that we develop according to our client’s needs to automatically discover devices on a network and collect information about services and protocols, providing users with improved visibility of their network infrastructure.
